Most of us were never taught how to feel what we f Most of us were never taught how to feel what we feel-let alone what to do with it. Especially in rural life, where grit is praised and rest is rare, we’ve learned to just keep going.

But we can only get back on that buckskin so many times before it catches up with us—in our bodies, in our relationships, and in how we show up to the people we love.

That’s why I offer 1:1 Good Movement Guidance. It’s a 6-month partnership for rural folks ready to stop carrying the weight alone and start reconnecting-with themselves and their people.

If you’re feeling the nudge, l’d be honored to walk with you.

It’s half-time of branding season here. We have It’s half-time of branding season here. We have a week of reprieve.

Up till this point there’s been a branding five days a week. Next week picks back up again with, and the week after will be the same.

Brandings every day means early mornings and long days at a little faster pace than most of the rest of the year.

I haven’t been posting much on here lately - not because I don’t have things to say, but because I’ve been listening.

To my body.
To my breath.
To the quiet little voice that says: “Hey… slow down. Rest.”

It’s easy to ignore that voice when there’s work to be done - herds to move, meals to make, life to live.

But I’ve learned (the hard way and more than once) that when I push through too long, too hard, without pausing to check in, my body eventually makes me stop.

So this time, I chose different.
I’m giving myself a little more margin.
Putting fewer words out into the world and paying more attention to the ones my body’s whispering to me.

You don’t need anyone’s permission, but in case you needed a little encouragement to slow down too… this is it.

You’re not lazy. You’re not falling behind.
You’re listening. And that’s one of the strongest things you can do.
It’s so easy to make our way mindlessly through It’s so easy to make our way mindlessly through life, moving to fast to notice.

But what are you noticing lately? What’s caught your eye and your heart to take pause in awe or gratitude?
Some days I feel solid in my healing.
Other days Some days I feel solid in my healing.
Other days I feel unsure.
Most days, it’s both.

If you’re in that both/and space too…
You’re not doing it wrong.
You’re human and healing.
