Balance Point

Welcome to

Balance Point

A six-month collective meeting you at the point of change.

The Balance Point is where change is made.

In stockmanship, “balance point” refers to a point, which when crossed, causes the animal to move or change direction in response to the pressure. This Balance Point is similar in that it is where change is made.

Balance Point is a six-month group experience for rural women who are lonely, feel like they are everyone’s last priority, and at the point where something has to change.

Inside this safe, confidential space we’ll walk through the Good Movement Framework, focusing on relationships while being held by other women who understand the rural lifestyle.

You’ll learn how to listen to your inner voice, name what you’re feeling, set boundaries that protect you, and grow healthier relationships without sacrificing yourself. Here you can finally exhale, feel deeply known, and be emotionally fed.

Together, we’ll explore the patterns that keep us stuck, break generational cycles, and draw good movement — within our hearts and relationships.

The Good Movement framework

Step #1

Self-Awareness

Recognizing your own state, energy, thoughts, feelings, emotions, behaviors, challenges, and strengths.

Step #2

Social Awareness

Noticing tone, posture, and
emotions in others, and the ability to consider their perspectives.

Step #3

Communication

Using self and social awareness to engage with clarity and honesty, knowing when to step in and when to back off.

Balance Point is for women…

who are emotionally starving in their marriage, family, or friendships.

who’ve spent their whole lives asking, “what does everyone need from me?”

who are profoundly lonely in their relationships and have reached a point where something has to change.

looking for a non-judgmental space to share, process, and learn alongside others who relate.

ready to gain practical tools and deep support to trust their inner knowing and feel seen, heard, and known.

If that’s you, then Balance Point is for you!

“T created a safe space that feels like friends chatting.”

I really like small groups. I’m always open to try new things, and listen to speakers, but T created a safe space that feels like friends chatting. Also, learning more about WHY I do the things I do, and WHY I see the world the way I do has been so impactful and helpful in navigating communications with others.

Get Started

Hey – it’s me – T!

Having lived in rural America my whole life, I understand the unique dynamics rural living brings to relationships. There was a period of time when my husband and I were in roommate mode, and we weren’t the friendly kind of roommates. Since that time, I’ve found that the stockmanship principle of good movement applies not only to our interactions with our livestock but also to interactions with our fellow humans.

Good movement starts with us, and taking a holistic approach. When we focus not only on improving communication skills but also on nurturing emotional and mental well-being – that’s when the real good stuff happens.

Whether you’re feeling unseen in your marriage, emotionally starved in your current family dynamic, or ready for more than just breadcrumbs, my goal is to help you come home to yourself and express yourself authentically.

So, here’s to embracing vulnerability, fostering understanding, and experiencing joy again.

Here’s to drawing good movement!

While group therapy is typically led by a licensed therapist and focuses on processing deep emotional or mental health issues, Balance Point is a growth-focused community aimed at improving self-awareness, social awareness, and relationships in rural life. It’s a collective experience where you gain practical tools, shared insights, and personal support, all while growing emotional clarity and connection. It’s about thriving in your life and relationships, with the guidance and camaraderie of other women who get this rural life.

Because this collective is a safe space for vulnerability and growth, our weekly calls are not recorded. If you miss a weekly call and would like support from the community or personalized coaching, drop in the GroupMe and we’ll be there for you.

Yes, in that it is a collective of rural women supporting one another as they grow and draw good movement in their lives.

Where the Balance Point is different…

It is specifically focused on women who have reached a point in their relationships where something has to change. The group sized is bigger (limit 25 instead of 6), and our time together will have slightly more structure as we work through the steps of the Good Movement Framework.
