“Put your head down and power through.” But I “Put your head down and power through.”

But I finally stopped long enough to hear what my body had been trying to tell me for years.

Turns out, pushing through isn’t always strength.

Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is slow down and listen.
I know what it’s like to carry everything in sil I know what it’s like to carry everything in silence. To be the strong one. The get-it-done one.

I know what it’s like to survive the storm without ever naming what hurt.

And I don’t believe we’re meant to live that way.

I’m here to disrupt that silence – to disrupt the status quo. To help rural folks come back to themselves. To show that emotional well-being isn’t weakness - it’s wisdom. And that healing doesn’t mean giving up your grit. It means becoming truly resilient.

This work is my calling. It’s what I needed. And I know I’m not the only one.
This was legit something someone said to me a whil This was legit something someone said to me a while back before it was trending. 

I said, “Thanks. It’s taken a lot of hard work and making choices every day to stop shoving things down and feel instead of numb.”

I don’t just look happier. I am happier. 

But this happiness doesn’t come without all the other feelings.

Most of us were never taught how to feel what we f Most of us were never taught how to feel what we feel-let alone what to do with it. Especially in rural life, where grit is praised and rest is rare, we’ve learned to just keep going.

But we can only get back on that buckskin so many times before it catches up with us—in our bodies, in our relationships, and in how we show up to the people we love.
