I’m excited to welcome my friend, Paige Dulaney, to the podcast today!
Paige is a member of the Good Movement Collective and a mama, rancher, and farm wife from northeast Colorado. Paige has walked a hard, beautiful, and deeply personal road the past few years. We first connected through Instagram, and from the very beginning, she deeply resonated with the heart of Good Movement.
When she reached out, she was in a tough season. She was trying to manage the progression of her dad’s dementia, questioning longtime family patterns, and realizing she just wasn’t “okay” anymore.
In today’s episode, we’re diving deeper into family dynamics and emotional healing. Through some major life changes and unexpected challenges, Paige has found herself reevaluating who she was, what she needed, and how to reclaim her voice.
Paige took a leap and joined the Collective, and watching her healing journey unfold has been an absolute GIFT! From learning to trust her gut again to setting boundaries that reflect her worth and working through the “mom guilt” that many of us experience in motherhood, Paige has shown up with SO much courage.
Healing (especially emotional healing) is slow and unglamorous work, but it’s absolutely worth it for yourself and your loved ones.
Remember – you don’t have to walk this journey alone. You deserve to be seen and heard, and you’re ALWAYS worth speaking up for!
Meet Paige:
Paige is a friend and part of the Good Movement Collective. She is a stay-at-home mom, rancher & farm wife from northeast Colorado. She grew up in agriculture and all of its nuances. Through life circumstances, she’s had to navigate standing up against the grain to “traditional” family dynamics, while also raising 3 young kids in the midst. It’s really forced Paige to reevaluate who she was, who she is, and who she strives to be.
In this episode, Family Dynamics and Emotional Healing with Paige Dulaney, we cover:
- What led Paige to join the Good Movement Collective in a season of deep personal transition
- Learning to trust herself again and reconnect with her inner voice
- Why a strong connection with our kids doesn’t depend on who we were when they were born
- The biggest shifts Paige has experienced since beginning her healing journey
- Paige’s reflections on the Good Movement Collective + why she’d recommend to others
- The power of feeling seen, heard, and supported by someone who truly “gets it”

More about the Good Movement Draws Good Movement podcast:
In stockmanship (the art and science of handling cattle in a safe, effective, low-stress manner), we have this phrase . . . good movement draws good movement.
It’s this thing that happens when we ask a small group of cattle, maybe a cow or a pair, to move out in a certain direction, and their movement draws the whole herd into moving in the same direction.
Good movement happens when we approach the cattle with a positive attitude, read and really listen to what they’re telling us, and communicate accordingly.
We don’t approach the aware, flighty cattle the same as we do the tame, docile cattle. We adjust ourselves, our energy, and our approach, and we communicate with each other differently.
These adjustments help us effectively draw good movement from each, which then draws good movement from the herd. But it starts with us.
The same is true for humans. Good movement starts with us.
Welcome to Good Movement Draws Good Movement, the podcast where farmers, ranchers, and rural folks can grow relationally through awareness, understanding, and effective communication.
Hey, it’s me – T. I’m your host, and I, along with my guests, will be covering topics related to drawing good movement – things like self and social awareness, brain science, positive psychology, extending grace, and so much more.
We’ll share tools that can help you understand why you are the way you are, why others are the way they are, and how you can use that to step out of self-told lies with grace and compassion to draw good movement in conversations, relationships, and life in rural America.
Tune in every Tuesday, and make sure to hit subscribe so you never miss an episode! Let’s go draw good movement!
